IMS was launched in 2003 by three entrepreneurial tradesmen who were inspired by their families success in various areas of the building industry.

Choosing to set up a business at a time when the industry was going through massive changes – and as they were setting out on their life journeys with their own homes and families – was a brave step.  But they saw it as an opportunity – to deliver the kind of service and innovation that went far beyond what the building trade is known for.

Their first step was to ensure that every member of their team of trades experts were professionally accredited and kept up-to-date with their specialist knowledge.  This not only gives them credibility, but also the ability to offer clients leading edge solutions for their projects.

Every customer gets a first class service, whether they’re having a socket replaced or a sophisticated under-floor heating system installed.  Nobody joins the team who isn’t prepared to put the customer first – and we’ve never walked away from a job since the company started, regardless of the challenges, we ensure the work is done – and done well.
